Overview

Central Georgia Technical was established in 1962 as the Macon Area Vocational – Technical School. It was established by the Bibb County Board of Education and the Georgia State Board of Education. The school began accepting students in 1966. The college adopted its current name, Central Georgia Technical College, in July of 2000. The college offers credit programs in the following areas:
