Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is one of the academic departments of Central Methodist University, a private, coeducational, four-year institution located in Fayette, Missouri. David Rice McAnally and Nathan Scarritt founded the university as Central Methodist College on April 13, 1853. The university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degree programs in many areas of sciences, education, and liberal arts.
The athletics teams of Central Methodist University are known as the Eagles, and participate in basketball, football, golf, cross country, softball, track and field, soccer, and volleyball. The university also has a Spirit Squad, consisting of cheerleading and dance teams.
