Overview

Centre College was established in the year 1819. It is a private undergraduate college of liberal arts located in Danville, Kentucky. The campus of the institution consists of more than 60 buildings, which are spread across an area of over 150 acres. The college provides students the opportunity to study abroad while offering various degrees and programs domestically.

Centre College’s campus is home to several student run organizations, including the Association of Women in Mathematics, the Centre Chess Club, the Centre Cycling Club, the Centre Equestrian Club and the Centre Women's Club Lacrosse team. The Greek life offered by the college includes various sonorities and fraternities, including Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Phi Omega, Beta Beta Beta, Phi Alpha Theta and Phi Beta Kappa, among others.
