Overview

Chaffey College, also referred to as CC, is a coeducational, community college located in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County, California, United States. The College was established in 1883 as Chaffey College of Agriculture of the University of Southern California. In 1901, the college was renamed Ontario High School. Later, it was renamed Chaffey College.

The athletic teams of CC are called the Panthers. Roc the Black Panther is the official mascot. The College sponsors basketball, softball, soccer, water polo, and baseball.

Notable faculty of Chaffey College include Meagan Tandy, Miss California, USA, 2007; Frank Zappa, musician; and Ron Catalano, musician.
