Overview

Chaminade University of Honolulu, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, was established in the year 1955 by the Society of Mary (Marianists), a Roman Catholic religious order. This university was named in honor of Father William Joseph Chaminade, founder of the Society of Mary.
