Chatfield College, located in Saint Martin, Ohio, was established in 1958 by a group of Ursuline Sisters. Originally known as Ursuline Teacher Training Institute, the college was given its present name in 1971. Chatfield College is named in honor of Sister Julia Chatfield, the founder of the Ursuline Convent. The college, a private, three-year, Catholic, liberal arts college, has a branch campus located in Cincinnati. Students at the college are offered study programs which lead to associate’s degrees. Prospective students can choose their area of interest from courses such as business, early childhood education, psychology, science and creative and fine arts.
Chatfield College has an active Greek life consisting of the Phi Theta Kappa and Beta Omicron Eta. The student and career services department of the college offers students academic guidance and career assessment facilities.
