Chipola College

Chipola College is located in Marianna, Florida, United States. It was established in 1947 as Chipola Junior College. The name of the college was changed in 2003.

The college offers a number of bachelor degree programs and alternative certification programs to students.

Chipola is home to several clubs and organizations includeing the Chipola Player's Club, Freshmen Student Nurses Association, Mu Alpha Theta, and Phi Theta Kappa.

Chipola college is well-known for its athletic program. Its sports teams include basketball, baseball, softball, and cross country.

Many students of Chipola College have become famous including Tyler Flowers, current major league baseball prospect; Mary Elizabeth Lado, professional figure competitor; and Russell Martin, current catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
