Overview

Christopher Newport University also known as CNU, is a liberal arts university that was established in 1960. Located in Newport News, Virginia. This university was originally a two-year school of the College of William and Mary. The campus of the university covers 200 acres. The university offers its students degree programs, academic majors and minors, and certificate programs in various fields of study including accounting, theatre arts, social work and management.

The Greek life at the university includes several fraternities. The many student organizations and clubs at Christopher Newport University include an Accounting Club, an Animal Welfare Coalition, an Interclub Association and Operation Smile.
