Overview

Cisco College (previously Cisco Junior College) was originally established in the year 1909 as Britton Training Institute. However, due to depletion in the number of students, it closed down after World War I. It was reopened in 1923 as Randolph College but closed down in 1936. Finally, in May, 1939, Cisco Junior College was created as a part of the Cisco Independent School District. Located in Cisco, Texas, United states, the college's campus spreads over an area of more than 90 acres. The college offers degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including fine arts, business, and science.

Cisco College sponsors various clubs and organizations including Phi Theta Kappa, Computer Users Club, Student Government Association, Photography Club, and Auto Tech Club. The students of Cisco College participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball. The sports teams are called the Wranglers.
