City College

City College Miam, located in Miami, Florida,was established in 1997. Originally founded in 1984 as Draughon’s College of Business at Paducah Kentucky, the common abbreviation for the college is CC. Branch campuses of the college are located in areas includign Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville and Orlando. CC Miami offers students with programs which lead to associate’s and bachelor’s degrees as well as diploma programs. Students can choose from areas such as broadcasting, medical assisting, nursing, business administration and phlebotomy.

CC Miami has a dedicated career assistance and development department, which offers students with career counseling and job placement assistance. CC Miami students publish a newsletter called the City Spotlight. The ambassador program at CC allows students to take responsibility in serving the needs of the student body as well as the community. Students of CC can apply for the Richard W. Skidmore Scholarship program for financial aid.
