Claremont School of Theology was founded in 1885, as the Maclay School of Theology. Its campus was located in San Fernando, California. The campus shifted to the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles, in 1900. In 1957, the school moved to its present Claremont campus. The institution offers degrees including doctorate of ministry, master of divinity, master of art, and PhD degrees in theology and religion.
