Overview

Clarkson University is located in Potsdam, New York, United States, and was established in the year 1896. The university offers degrees and certificate programs in the fields of business, engineering, humanities, and sciences among others. Clarkson University has the following three degree-granting schools under it:

Clarkson University sponsors a large number of clubs and organizations. Students can be members of the Ski Club, Outing Club, Clarkson Theatre Company, and Clarkson Pep Band. Students run an on-campus radio station called the WTSC and also operate a TV station called the WCKN television. The athletic teams of Clarkson University are nicknamed the Golden Knights. The men's teams compete in sports such as baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, and soccer. The women's teams participate in basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball.
