The Cleveland Institute of Music is located in Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1920 as a private institute offering specialized courses in music. The college offers programs in areas such as piano, chamber music, music composition and percussion. CIM also has facilities for preparatory music programs and continuing education. There are also a number of workshops on musical instruments and distance learning programs offered by the college as well. CIM is composed of the following divisions:
