Overview

Clinton Junior College is a private, two-year co-educational institution located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The college was established in 1894 as the Clinton Normal and Industrial Institute. The college offers associate’s degree programs in diverse areas of study, including natural sciences, religious studies and elementary education.

Clinton Junior College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, or NJCAA. Its athletics teams are nicknamed the Golden Bears. The college offers a number scholarships to eligible students, including the Pearl Fryar Scholarship, the Elaine Johnson Copeland Scholarship and the Student Inventors Scholarships, among others.
