Overview

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, CRCDS, is located in Rochester, New York. It was formed in 1928 through the merger of Hamilton Theological and Literary Institute, which was founded in 1817 and later on became Colgate Theological Seminary; and Rochester Theological Seminary. Originally known as Colgate Rochester Divinity School, CRCDS was joined by The Baptist Missionary Training School in 1961. It merged with Crozer Theological Seminary in 1970 and was renamed Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School offers master’s degrees and certificate programs in divinity, theological discipline, and Anglican studies. CRCDS also grants a Doctor of Ministry degree to students.

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School has many on campus student organizations, which include the Student Cabinet, the Social Justice Committee, the Black Student Caucus, the Rainbow Connection, and the Baptist Alliance.
