Overview
Misericordia University, formerly known as College Misericordia, is located in Dallas, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in the year 1924 by the Religious Sisters of Mercy. It gained university status in the year 2007. The campus spreads over an area of more than 100 acres. The university is divided into three academic degree granting colleges, which are:
- College of Arts and Sciences
- College of Health Sciences
- College of Professional Studies
Misericordia University has many student clubs and organizations including the Dead Alchemist Society, Phi Theta Epsilon, Social Work Club, Commuter Council, International Club, and Misericordia University Anime Club. The athletic teams are named the Cougars, and students compete in baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, lacrosse, track and field, field hockey. and golf.
