Overview
The College of Biblical Studies-Houston, also known as CBS, is a private, degree-granting institution of higher education located in Houston, Texas, United States. It was established in the year 1976 under Dr. Ernest L. Mays. It was initially called the Houston Bible Institute. The name changed to The College of Biblical Studies-Houston in the year 1996. The main campus comprises of five buildings which spread across an area of over 12 acres of land. The academic program consists of an Accelerated Degree Completion Program, Bible Certificate, Associate of Biblical Studies, and master degrees at Dallas Theological Seminary Houston Extension, among others.
