Overview

College of Lake County, also referred to as CLC, is a two-year, coeducational, public, community college in Grayslake, Illinois, United States. It was established in 1967 as Lake County Community College (also known as LCCC). During the early years, the College was financed by Dr. Brian Wang and Lake County Board Chairman, Brad Weinberger. They oversaw the construction and also the financing of the project. It received its present moniker in 1975.

The College is organized into the following academic divisions:

The athletic teams are called the CLCC Lancers. The College sponsors basketball, cross-country, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
