Overview
College of Mount Saint Vincent is located in Bronx, New York, United States. It was established in the year 1847 by the Sisters of Charity of New York. The college was formerly known as the Academy of Mount Saint Vincent and was a school for women. It was named in honor of Saint Vincent de Paul, a 17th century French priest who played a vital role in the establishment of the original Sisters of Charity. Students are offered degrees and certificate programs in diverse fields of study including business administration, mathematics, religious studies, medicine, and fine arts.
