Overview

The College of Saint Benedict, also known as CSB, is a liberal arts college located at St. Joseph, Minnesota, United States. It was established in 1913. The college shares its academic programs with Saint John’s University, or SJU for men. Together, they are referred to as CSB/SJU. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is made up of the following academic units:

  • Division of Fine Arts

  • Division of Natural Sciences
  • Division of Social Sciences

The sports teams of CSB are nicknamed the Johnnies, and their colors are cardinal and blue. CSB is a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). They participate in a number of sports such as golf, swimming and diving, Nordic skiing, cross country, basketball, volleyball, softball, ice hockey, tennis, and track and field.
