Overview

College of the Holy Cross is located in Worcester, Masachusetts, United States. It was established in the year 1843 by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). It is New England’s oldest Roman Catholic college and also its first Jesuit college. The college is a member unit of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. College of the Holy Cross offers degree programs in study areas such as religious studies, education, environmental studies, biochemistry, and music.

The College of the Holy Cross has a large number of student clubs and organizations. These include the Italian Club, Black Student Union, Equestrian Club, Student Government Association, and College Democrats. Students publish an on-campus newspaper called The Crusader. A radio station, called WCHC 88.1 FM, is also operated by the students from the college.
