Overview

College of the Ozarks, founded in 1956 and also known as C of O, is a private, Christian liberal-arts college in the Ozarks between Branson and Hollister, Missouri at Point Lookout. It is spread across an area of 1,000 acres. C of O offers majors and minors in a vast range of subjects which includes Chemistry, Education, Communication Arts and Journalism. It also offers several pre-professional programs in Dietetics and Medical technology. It offers several special programs including the Character Curriculum, Interdisciplinary Major and Minor Programs and ROTC Program.

C of O has an active campus life. There are several faith-based groups that operate in the campus like Baptist Student Union and Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. There are several student organized festivals like the Spring Fest and Mud fest.
