Columbia College

Columbia College, also known as CC, is located in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. It was founded in the year 1854. It was formerly known as Columbia Female College and is among the oldest women’s colleges in United States. Students are offered degree and certificate programs in various fields of study including biology, business administration, early childhood education, international studies, and computer and information science.

There are many student clubs and organizations available at CC including the Human Relations Student Association, Student Christian Association, Columbia College Communication Club, Campus Crusade for Christ, Commuter Student Association, and Council for Exceptional Children. The athletic teams are called the Fighting Koalas. CC’s sports teams participate in volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and cross country.
