Columbia College

Columbia College was established on January 18, 1851, as Christian Female College. It adopted its present name in 1970 and is also known as Columbia College of Missouri. The college offers several degree and certificate programs as well as numerous scholarships. Some of these are the Alumni Legacy Scholarship, Capstone Scholarship, Disciples of Christ Schiffman Supplementary Award, Columbia College Scholarship, International Excellence Awar, and Presidential Scholarship. There are a wide variety of Greek organizations at Columbia College including Alpha Kappa Delta, Alpha Sigma Lambda, Alpha Phi Sigma, Kappa Mu Epsilon, Phi Alpha Delta, Pi Sigma Alpha, Lambda Pi Eta, Psi Chi, Sigma Tau Delta, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, and many more. Some of the other student organizations are Residence Hall Council Association, Black Student Association, Criminal Justice Student Association, and Participant Advisory Council for Student Support Services.
