Columbia Gorge Community College was established in 1977. The institution was initially known as the Wasco Area Education Service District. It was given its current name in 1989. This public college is located in The Dalles, Oregon.

Columbia Gorge Community College awards associate’s degrees in diverse areas like consumer and family studies, health and physical education, computer applications/office systems, early childhood education and emergency medical technology. Various distance learning and adult continuing education programs are also offered by the institution.
