Columbia International University

Columbia International University is a Christian institution of higher education located in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in the year 1923, the university is known for its emphasis on biblical authority, spiritual formation and world evangelization. CIU is spread across an area of 400 acres. The university offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in diverse areas of study. CIU is organized into the following academic divisions:

Graduate School

Seminary & School of Missions

CIU has an active campus life. There are several clubs and organizations operating on campus, including the Student Senate, Graduate Life Council, Mu Kappa, Student Missions Connection and Refocus. Their official mascot is known as the ‘Cougars’.
