Columbia State Community College

Columbia State Community College was established in 1966, and is situated in Columbia, Tennessee. In January 1988, the university started offering courses in Yates Vocational Center located in Franklin.

The college grants Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Applied Science degree, Associate of Science degree and many vocational certificates. It serves 9 countries in Tennessee through its 5 campuses:

  • Columbia (Maury County), the central campus
  • Clifton (Wayne County)
  • Franklin (Williamson County)
  • Lawrenceburg (Lawrence County)
  • Lewisburg (Marshall County)

Columbia State Community College is home to numerous recognized students groups and organizations. Some of them are Charger Student Radiographer Organization, the North American Veterinary Technician Association, the Student Government Association and the Student Tennessee Education Association. The sports teams of the college are nicknamed The Chargers and the school fields softball, baseball, and men's and women's basketball teams.
