Overview

Columbus State University is a four-year public university located in Columbus, Georgia. It was established as the Columbus College in 1958 and is administered by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. The main campus is located in midtown Columbus and is spread across an area of over 130 acres. CSU also operates a smaller RiverPark campus in the downtown area. CSU offers a wise variety of degrees and programs. It is organized into the following academic units:

CSU boasts an active student life. Its students can take part in the various intramural and recreational programs. The campus hosts more than 50 chartered student organizations, sororities, fraternities, honor societies and special-interest clubs. The Saber is the student-run newspaper of CSU.
