Commonwealth Technical Institute, a constituent part of the Hiram G. Andrews Center (HGAC), is located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. HGAC is a part of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Commonwealth Technical Institute of Technology, also called CTI, has a campus which covers an area of 12 acres. The institute offers a number of support programs, diploma programs and degree programs. Some of the areas of study include dental laboratory technology, architectural drafting, culinary arts, printing technology and automotive technology. The support programs include the areas of driver education and occupational readiness.
Off-campus and on-campus internships are provided for students at CTI. The HGAC and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College have a partnership to offer students a transition from a technical training college to a four-year community college. All the programs of CTI have a Program Advisory Community that render their expertise in precise programs.
