Community College Of Beaver County

The Community College of Beaver County, also referred to as CCBC, was founded in 1966. It was then located in Freedom, Pennsylvania, United States, but moved to Beaver County, Pennsylvania. This community college enrolls over 2,000 students every year. It offers a wide variety of two-year degrees and certifications programs in areas of arts and sciences, business, health and human services, technology, and public service occupations. The college is particularly well known for its nursing and aviation programs.

The college supports a number of Greek organizations such as the Alpha Eta Rho, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and Tau Pi Rho. Among the other student clubs are the Criminal Justice Club, Drama Club, Music Club, and Student Business Association. The Community College of Beaver County‘s athletics department fields sports teams that are known as the Titans. The Titans participate in basketball, volleyball, and softball.
