Concordia Theological Seminary is located at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Wilhelm Sihler founded the college in 1846. After a number of changes in locations, the seminary was relocated to Fort Wayne in 1976. Commonly abbreviated as CTS, the seminary is dedicated to preparation of pastors for congregations. The college offers its students master’s and doctoral degree programs in areas like ministry, missiology and divinity. The college also has a course which helps in preparation of deaconesses for church ministries.
CTS has an active Student Government Association. The college also has a Student Wives Association. The college offers financial aid to its deserving students in the form of a number of scholarships and grants. The college’s basketball team is nicknamed the King’s Men and participates in a number of intercollegiate events.
