Overview

Concordia University at Austin is now known as the Concordia University Texas. The university was originally established in 1926 as the Lutheran Concordia College of Texas. It became a coeducational institute in 1955 and was renamed as the Concordia Lutheran College in 1965. The school has been known as Concordia University Texas since 2007. The 350-acre campus is located in Austin, Texas.

Concordia University offers various undergraduate and graduate degrees along with accelerated degree programs. The academic divisions of the university are:

Concordia University Texas supports a wide variety of clubs and organizations, including the Student Leadership Association, the Concordia Youth Ministry Team and Helping Hands. In addition, the university publishes a student newspaper called “The Mullet.”
