Overview

Concordia University Portland, also known as CU, is a Public University located in Portland, Oregon, United States. It was established in the year 1905. The campus spreads across an area of 13 acres. CU grants bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees in more than 65 areas of study. The university is organized into the following schools and colleges:

  • College of Education
  • College of Health and Human Services
  • College of Theology, Arts, and Science
  • School of Management

Concordia University hosts a number of active clubs and organizations which are run by the students. Some of them are the Helping Other People Every day club, Independent International Mission Club, Concordia Nerd Alliance, Epsilon Pi Delta, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Nicknamed the Stingers, the university's athletic teams competes in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport, Quebec Student Sports Federation, and the Quebec Interuniversity Football Conference. They participate in sports such as rugby, soccer, and basketball, among others.
