Overview
Connecticut College, also known as Conn College or Conn, is a private, liberal arts college located in New London, Connecticut, United States. It was founded in 1911. This is a highly selective, coeducational, and residential college that occupies a large 750-acre campus.
Connecticut College offers a number of academic programs in arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The college operates through four major centers. These are
- Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology
- Goodwin-Niering Center for Conservation Biology and Environmental Studies
- Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy
- Toor Cummings Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts
Conn College students are actively associated with various cultural, media oriented, political, religious and spiritual, and academic clubs and associations. Some of these organizations are Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society, Slavic Chorus and Russian Choir, Film Society, Connecticut College Democrats, and Multi-faith Student Council, among others.
