Overview

Converse College is a women's college of liberal arts located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. The college was inaugurated in 1890 and named after Dexter Edgar Converse, one of its prominent founders. It offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students every year.

Converse College provides undergraduate and graduate degree programs to its students. One can opt for courses in music, theatre and dance, religion and philosophy, history and politics, education, accounting, economics, business, chemistry, and biology, among others.

Students of Converse College participate in various clubs and organizations.
