Cosumnes River College

Cosumnes River College, or CRC, was established on September 14, 1970, and is part of the Los Rios Community College District. Initially, the college had 1800 day and 350 evening students. CRC was named after the Cosumnes River. The college campus has approximately 12 permanent buildings and offers more than 60 degree programs as well as several other certificate courses.

Some of the academic departments of CRC are advertising/public relations, architectural design technology, computer information science, and health information technology. The college also has a number of scholarship programs for its academically talented students including the Allan Kono Memorial Scholarship, Bill Daly Memorial Scholarship, CRC Patrons Club Memorial Scholarship, and CRC Staff Scholarship.

CRC has many student clubs and organizations including the American Institute of Architects Students, Bake Club, CRC Ambassadors Club, Flying Hands Club, Generation Queer, Latter Day Saints Association, Phi Theta Kappa, and International Student Club.
