Overview

Curry College is located in Milton, Massachusetts, United States. It was established in the year 1879 by Anna Bright. It was then known as the School of Elocution. The campus is set on an area of more than 130 acres. The college offers its students a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs through the academic departments of applied technology, communication, education, fine arts and applied arts, humanities, management, natural science and mathematics, nursing, politics and history, psychology, sociology, and criminal justice.

Curry College supports a number of student clubs and organizations. Among those available on campus are the Commuter Club, Education Association, MultiCultural Student Union, Newman Club, and Student Government Association. In addition, the students publish a bi-weekly newspaper called the "Currier Times." The athletics department fields teams in football, soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, cross country, and softball. The teams are known as the Colonels.
