Overview

Cuyamaca College is a two year community college located in El Cajon, California. It was founded in 1978. The college offers more than 50 associates degree programs and over 60 training certification programs. It enrolls over 8,000 students annually. Many of its students transfer to the University of California at San Diego or San Diego State University to receive bachelors degrees. Cuyamaca College’s campus is spread across an area of 165 acres.

Cuyamaca's athletic department fields a wide variety of men’s and women’s sports teams. Its official mascot is the coyote. The campus is host to several student clubs and organizations.
