Overview

Cypress College is a comprehensive, two-year, community college located in Cypress, California, United States. It was established on September 12, 1966. The college offers more than 50 associate degrees, transfer courses, and over 130 vocational programs leading to Associate degrees and certificates. It enrolls nearly 14,000 students per semester.

Cypress College's campus covers an area of 440,000 square meters. The student population is very ethnic and diverse. It includes 33% Caucasian, 27% Latinos, 19% Asian/Pacific Islander, 8% Filipino, 6% African American, and others - 5%.

Cypress College's student body has a good number of international students. Some of the notable alumni of the college are Brian Downing, Major League Baseball Player; Eric Stefani, recording artist; and Jason Vargas, Major League Baseball Pitcher.
