Dartmouth College is a private, coeducational college located in Hanover, New Hampshire. It was founded in 1769 by Congregational minister Eleazar Wheelock. The college is a member of the Ivy League, and one of the Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution. A side from its undergraduate liberal arts program, Dartmouth also has medical, engineering, and business schools. It also offers more than 15 graduate programs in the arts and sciences. The college enrolls more than 5,000 students annually. The campus is spread across an area of more than 250 acres.
Dartmouth's campus is home to more than 150 student organizations and clubs. The college also hosts more than 25 different religious organizations, which hold services, regular meetings and educational seminars.
