Overview

Darton College located in Albany( Dougherty County), Georgia, was established in 1963. The two-year college offered its first classes in 1966 and was originally named Albany Junior College. The campus is spread over an area of more than 180 acres. This college offers its students degree and certificate programs, as well as online and distance education programs in arts, accounting, business administration and communication studies. The college enrolls more than 5,000 students annually.

Darton College provides its students with a wide range of clubs and organizations. The student organizations available on campus include the Gaming Club, the Student Government Association, the Music Club, the Table Tennis Club and the Honors Club. The students also take part in sports such as golf, cross country, swimming, baseball and wrestling.
