Overview

Davenport University, or DU, was founded in 1866. The main campus of the university is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In addition, DU has branch campuses in many places throughout Michigan as well as in Northern Indiana. The university offers a number of bachelor and master degrees as well as certificate programs. DU is organized into the following academic units:

  • Donald W. Maine School of Business
  • School of Health Professions
  • School of Technology

DU offers several scholarship programs for the academically talented students. Some of these are the Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship, Michael D. Davis Endowed Scholarship, Alfred and Eleanor Dinsmore Nursing Scholarship, and John Dishaw Memorial Scholarship.

There are a wide variety of student clubs at DU. Some of these student run organizations are the Students in Free Enterprise, Distributive Education Clubs of America, and International Students Club.
