Overview
Delaware State University, also referred to as Del State or DESU, is a public university located in Dover, Delaware, United States. It was established in 1892. DESU operates two satellite campuses in Wilmington and Georgetown. The main campus spreads across an area of 400 acres. The university offers more than 60 undergraduate degrees, over 20 graduate degrees, and over 5 doctoral degrees. The University is organized into the following schools and colleges:

DSU’s campus hosts several student clubs and organizations such as the International Student Association, Graduate Student Organization, and the Gospel Choir. The university's two publications are the "Hornet Newspaper" and the "Statesman Yearbook."
