Overview

Dickinson College is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1783, and its charter was prepared by Benjamin Rush, a renowned Philadelphia physician. The campus spreads over an area of more than 160 acres. Students can choose from degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including archaeology, international studies, policy management, health studies, and mathematics.

Dickinson College is home to several fraternities and sororities including Phi Kappa Sigma, Phi Beta Kappa, Gamma Sigma Epsilon, Alpha Phi Omega, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Delta Theta, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The athletic teams are nicknamed the Red Devils. Students participate in a wide variety of sports such as basketball, baseball, cross country, football, soccer, lacrosse, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field hockey.
