Draughons Junior College Clarksville is one of the campuses of Draughons Junior College. The college was established in 1879. Founded by John F. Draughon, the institution was originally known as Draughons Practical Business College. Presently, there are number of campuses operated by Draughons Junior College. The Clarksville campus was established in 1987. Draughons Junior College – Clarksville Campus offers a number of programs in diverse areas of study including bookkeeping, dental assisting, paralegal studies, accounting technology and Internet web design.
Apart from academics, the students participate in several school-related activities and organizations such as Student Council, Pencil Pushers and Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society. The Career Services staff help the students to secure employment in their respective fields of study, after the successful completion of their courses.
