Drexel University is a private, coeducational university located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1891 by Anthony J. Drexel, a famous financier and philanthropist. The main campus is located west of Schuylkill River in the University City district of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It covers 60 acres.
