Drury University is a private liberal arts college situated in Springfield, Missouri. It was established as Springfield College in 1873 by the Congregationalist church missionaries. Drury University enrolls around 1,700 undergraduates, 3,000 adult part-time undergrads and about 400 graduate students every semester. The University offers a number of degrees and programs in varied areas of study. Its main campus is spread over an area of more than 100 acres. Drury University is comprised of the following academic divisions:

The University's sports department fields several men's and women's athletic teams. Drury University was also a founding member of the Heartland Conference. Its teams take part in a wide selection of sports, including volleyball, basketball, baseball and soccer.

Undergrads are 90% of enrolled students and graduate students are 10%. Students living in the US make up 100% of incoming freshmen. Among freshmen students, 87% are full-time and 13% are part-time.

Housing and MealsDrury provides on-campus housing for 938 of its 4,095 (full-time) students (as of 2008-2009). The school requires freshmen to live on campus. Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 20 meals weekly.
AthleticsThe school is in the Great Lakes Valley Conference for major sports. The school offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 72 male students received the aid (men were 47% of those receiving aid) and 82 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 53% of students receiving such aid) .
