Dyersburg State Community College

Dyersburg State Community College, also known as DSCC, is managed by the Tennessee Board of Regents in Tennessee, United States. It was established in 1969. Apart from the main campus, classes are also held at locations in Trenton, Covington, and Union City. Dyersburg State Community College also provides online programs. The three major academic departments through which the college offers its programs are –

  • Nursing and Allied Health

DSCC provides opportunities such as a Service Learning Program, an Honors curriculum option, and an International Studies program. It also provides Technical and Academic certification programs. Initially, DSCC was the smallest community college managed by the Tennessee Board of Regents; however, in 2007, motivated by regional growth, the officials started a process to change its name to Tennessee Western Community College.
