Eastern Maine Community College

Eastern Maine Community College, also known as EMCC, is located in Bangor, Maine, United States. It was founded in the year 1966 as Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (EMVTI). The campus spreads over an area of more than 70 acres. Students are offered degrees, diplomas, and certificates in more than 25 areas of study including psychology, sociology, medicine, mathematics, and biology. Online courses are also available for outstation students of EMCC.

The college has a variety of student clubs and organizations including the House Council, Student Nurses’ Association, Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, Student Senate, and Skills USA. EMCC students participate in sports such as basketball, golf, and soccer.
