Overview

Eastern New Mexico University, also known as ENMU, is a public university located in Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico, United States. It opened in 1934 as Eastern New Mexico Junior College (ENMJC). ENMU's main campus spreads across an area of more than 400 acres. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. ENMU is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

ENMU has an active Greek life. There are several social fraternities and sororities on campus including Lambda Theta Phi, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and Phi Kappa Psi. The campus also hosts several academic, sports, and cultural clubs and organizations.
